From 1 to 7 December, Azerbaijan Tourism Board organized a familiarization trip with the participation of 21 tourism companies from the United Arab Emirates and 10 tourism companies from the Saudi Arabia.

The delegation from the UAE and Saudi Arabia explored a range of Azerbaijan’s tourism products in Baku, Quba, Qusar, and Shabran.

As part of the programme, participants visited Shahdag Tourism Center and were briefed on golf tourism and gastrotourism opportunities in the country.

In addition B2B meetings were held during the visit with the participation of 60 local tourism companies, including Azerbaijan Airlines, as well as tourism agencies from the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

During the meetings tourism companies from both countries discussed prospects for future cooperation and opportunities for the development of joint tourism products.
